According to the proposal, the successors of freedom fighters who have been honoured with ‘Bir Shrestha’ title will now receive Tk 12,000, ‘Bir Uttam’ Tk 10,000, ‘Bir Bikram’ Tk 8,000 and ‘Bir Pratik’ Tk 6,000 per month. Currently, the families of Bir Shresthas are getting Tk 200, Bir Uttams Tk 150, Bir Bikrams Tk 125 and Bir Pratiks Tk 100.
